As a part of our mission, Treefalls strives to introduce New Music to our community through performance as well as educational outreach programs. During her stay in Spartanburg, Vicky Chow will visit several area schools to discuss modern performance techniques and 21st century compositional practices.
On Monday, March 26 at 7:30pm, Treefalls is please to partner with Converse College who will host a Masterclass with four, extremely talented upstate piano students. The class will be held in the Daniel Recital Hall in the Blackman Music Building at Converse, and it will be free and open to the public. All are welcome!
Join us for an enlightening hour of music, hear how the pros approach each masterpiece, and discover our phenomenal future performers living right here in the upstate of SC!

Treefalls is pleased to present Ensemble Radieuse (Chris and Kelly Vaneman) performing Electroacoustic New Music for flute and oboe at the Hub City Tap House in downtown Spartanburg. The program features pieces by living, active composers including Robert Dick, Brian DuFord, John Moody, Scott Robbins, Rachel Whelan, and several more.

Treefalls is back at the Tap House, and we're pleased to present Trillium (Brenda Leonard, Travis Baird, and Tracy Ensley) performing New Classical Music for string trio. The program features exciting and innovative pieces by living composers including Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw, Marcos Balter, Peter Hope, as well as upstate/local composers Jon Grier, Andrew Levin, Nolan Stolz, and Peter B. Kay.
