OnPointLikeOP links up with Rowdy Rebel for "Temperature 1090" Album

OnPointLikeOP and Rowdy Rebel are here to heat up the streets with their new collaborative project, "Temperature 1090." The duo is keeping their momentum going, following their viral From The Block performance of "Fed Time." Wasting no time, OP and Rowdy returned to the studio to present their highly anticipated full-length LP.

Both rappers have been flourishing in their own solo careers recently, with OP dropping his Jay Critch-assisted single "Foolery" and Rowdy releasing his last collaboration album with Fetty Luciano, Splash Brothers 2, in April. Still, the pair share a chemistry that carries the project from start to finish. Their natural New York-styled, gritty tones come alive on tracks like "Protect Ya Neck" and "Wet," produced by ATL Jacob. Their street-inspired lyrics mix well with the hard-hitting drill production that's present throughout most of the tracklist.

The ten-track album boasts features from fellow New York natives Jim Jones, Rah Swish, Tata, 34Zeussy, and Tay Savage. But even standing aside the collaborations, the tracks showcasing Rowdy and OP going back and forth are the album's strongest moments. It won't be surprising if the BK-bred rappers link up again for a follow-up project in the future.
