SHOW INFO:

The premier event in the 2014 Treefalls concert series, ONe explores the rich variety of New Music written in the last decade. Current composers cross conventional boundaries between so-called "popular" and "classical" traditions, blending musical genres in a way that resists definition. This New Music incorporates everything from avante garde to rock, classical to jazz, acoustic to electronic.

Our first show highlights works written by award-winning local composers and works with local ties, featuring performances by top musicians from the region who champion the music of our time.

Special guest and distinguished author Jeffery Beam will be joining us to read a selection from his poem An Invocation.
