Trio d’Esprit (Jonathan Aceto, Ruth Berry, and Carol Cook) is committed to presenting exceptional works composed for piano trio, a central genre of chamber music. The rich tradition of Chamber Music (as we know it today) began in parlors and salons, composers/performers conversing through music as they jammed with friends in the relaxed and close atmosphere. For their Spring 2015 Southeast Tour, the trio presents an exciting program of New Music, exploring the rich variety of musical voices of our time. Including several premieres, the energetic show offers dazzling new works written by living composers:
